ABOUT

The Washington State Association of Drug Court Professionals (WSADCP), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and the Washington Association of Drug Courts (WADC), a 501(c)(6) nonprofit, are dedicated to furthering Drug Courts and other Therapeutic Court models in the State of Washington.

The two associations are committed to doing this through education and advocacy across the state. Therapeutic courts provide an innovative approach to justice – linking the courts, treatment providers, and other community services to provide support and accountability for individuals with substance use or mental health disorders and helping them achieve long-term change and recovery. Drug courts significantly reduce recidivism. They, and other therapeutic courts, transform lives, reconnect families, and make the community a safer place to live.
