The Administrative Office of the Courts (AOC) maintains contact information on therapeutic courts in Washington and provides a forum for Washington State therapeutic court coordinators to connect through an email listserv and quarterly meetings.
To ensure the needs of each court level are met, the AOC has created two separate listservs and meetings:
Therapeutic court coordinators or managers working in District or Municipal Courts may attend the Courts of Limited Jurisdiction (CLJ) Coordinators meetings and join the CLJ Problem-Solving Court (PSC) Coordinator listserv.
Therapeutic court coordinators or managers working in Superior Courts may attend the Superior Court Coordinators meetings and join the Superior Court PSC Coordinator listserv.
If you are working at both court levels, you are welcome to attend both meetings and join both listservs or choose the one that best fits your needs.
The Quarterly Coordinator’s Meetings are one-hour meetings that include about 15-20 minutes of training or information followed by facilitated discussion of issues affecting therapeutic courts, peer mentorship, and collaboration.
